Overview

Expansion kit used when expanding the iDCS 500 telephone system by adding one or two of the iDCS 500 Expansion Cabinets. The included Expanded Switch Module (ESM) is used to expand the time switch matrix from 512 channels in a single cabinet to the 1024 channels required for multiple cabinet systems.

• Switch Control Processor card - SCP2 with 3 slots for the following:
  • iDCS 500 SCM Switch/Conference Daughterboard   
  • iDCS 500 RCM2 Caller ID Daughterboard
  • iDCS 500 MFM Multi Frequency Module
  • iDCS 500 Misc Card
• Expanded Switch Module - ESM
• Large System Software release 2 - L2SW

Requirements

• Only one of these is required whether using 1 or 2 expansion cabinets

• Slot 9 must be available in iDCS 500 Main Cabinet

• MCP2 card (included in the iDCS 500 Main Cabinet) with daughterboard slot D1 available
